Short version: Thread Numberer for X does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your personal data. Everything the extension does happens locally in your browser.

What the extension does

Thread Numberer for X adds automatic numbering (for example "1/5", "2/5") to the posts of a thread you are composing on x.com and twitter.com. When you click its button, it inserts your chosen numbering format into each post in the composer and keeps the totals correct as you add or remove posts.

Data we collect

We do not collect any personal data. The extension does not transmit any information to us or to any third party. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no external servers involved.

Information processed on your device

Thread text in the composer. To add numbering, the extension reads the text of the posts you are actively drafting and writes the numbering back into them. This text is processed entirely within your browser and is never sent anywhere or stored by us.
Your numbering preferences. Your chosen settings (such as the numbering format and position) are saved using Chrome's storage.sync API so they persist across sessions and devices. This data stays within your own Chrome account and is not accessible to us.

Permissions

storage — to save your numbering preferences.
Access to x.com and twitter.com — so the extension can add numbering to the thread you are composing on those sites. It runs only on these domains.

Data sharing and selling

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or any purpose unrelated to numbering your threads.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
